This stunning black mare arrived from Spain in late December 2011 in foal to the qualified Bohorquez stallion, Candelario III.
Huri SJA was bred by Yeguada San Juan de Alberche. She combines mainly the bloodlines of Luis Jose and Maria Fernanda Escalera, Miura & Yeguada Militar and carries ancestors such as Viantero III, Macanuo III, Remache & Lebrijano III in her pedigree. her dam Encantada XXXVIII is a very good mare and has been shown successfully in morphology competitions in Spain. Huri has very good conformation and breed type, with superb topline and floating, forward trot and ample knee lift.

This is the second foal out of our imported black mare Huri SJA.
Nachera has grown into a tall and strong mare with beautiful conformation and forward going paces, combining the best of both of her parents.
She has been started under saddle and retained by our stud as a broodmare. Her first foal was born on New Year's Day 2025.

Aroha is the first offspring out of Huri SJA, arriving in NZ in utero when we imported her dam. She is the only offspring by the qualified Bohorquez stallion, Candelario III in Australasia.
This line includes Albero II, well known in performance bloodlines including the sire of the Olympic dressage horse Fuego de Cardenas, via his sire Utrerano III.
